Mesa Verde Middle School hosts play, fundraiser

The Mesa Verde Middle School theater program will present the play "Totally Red" at 7 p.m. Fri., Nov. 14 at the school, 1400 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark.

The play is a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood through six different theatrical genres.

The show is family friendly, and admission is $3.

The theater program will also hold a used book sale from 9 to 11 a.m. Sat., Nov. 15 in the school parking lot. This fundraiser is cosponsored with the Moorpark Friends of the Library.

Used books for all ages and tastes will be available for sale. Prices will be from 50 cents to $2.

All proceeds will help support the theater program's upcoming trip to New York City in April.
