Free yoga for cancer patients

The Ventura Satellite of the Wellness Community Valley/ Ventura and Community Memorial Hospital's Cancer Resource Center will offer weekly yoga from 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Tuesday beginning Jan. 6 at the Cancer Resource Center, 184 N. Brent St., Ventura.

Instructor Tami Robinson began practicing yoga 30 years ago and uses props, adjustments, therapeutics and philosophy.

She teaches regular classes at Ventura Yoga Studio and YogaWorks in Westlake Village.

The program is free to those with cancer, cancer survivors and loved ones. Call (805) 708-0656.
